Based on a fanless industrial embedded PC module, we developed our own unit which has no rotating or moving elements. Windows 10 was selected as the operating system, which combines familiar user-friendly operation with high operational security.
Flash memory (SSD) provides data storage, and being maintenance-free fits perfectly with the selected operating system.
This hub has a large number of interfaces for connection to our own system components, and to those of external systems. The integrated IOLINK has 4 monitored signal inputs as well as 4 potential-free relay outputs, which in addition to general signalling functions also provides failure monitoring of the controller.
